Hello!

I am Carla, a designer turned UX researcher, skilled in using both qualitative and quantitative data to create actionable insights that enhance user experiences and drive impactful solutions.

So far, with most of my professional experience in Industrial Design, I have had the chance to do some work in fields such as research based on design thinking, pottery design and materials research, luxury furniture project management, retail branding, and, lately, industrial hardware and machine building.

Professionally I consider my labour as a translator and interpreter of data and ideas. I have trained myself to shape ideas in different ways to communicate them, from concepts to physical prototypes. In my journey, I have recognised the best design practices when people come together, rather than a by-oneself designer.
